  • Very good maybe one less day in yurt sharing but otherwise very good Very well organised and saves a lot of time

  • Visiting the Stans in 26 days is a full-on experience with the right balance of physical activity at the beginning and cultural visits at the end. The hiking is not too strenuous but you do have to be fit as it's mountainous. Overall you will be walking an average of 10/12 kms a day even when you are just doing cultural sightseeing. Kamila, our guide, was exceptional. Of Uzbek origin, she knew absolutely everything about the history and local customs which greatly enriched our visit to these 5 countries. Each country is different from the next but the one thing they all have in common, apart from the Russian language, is the friendly, hospitable people. They would stop us in the street to ask us where we were from and ask if we needed help. Totally interested in our lives without asking anything in return, for me it was the highlight of the trip to actually be able to discover first hand the lives of these people and speak to them either in English or in Russian with the help of our translation apps. If you want to discover a relatively unknown part of the world with little tourism, then this is the area to visit before it's too late. You won't be disappointed. The reason is for the balancing out of the trip over 26 days. The first part was more active physically and the second part was more cultural and less energetic. Good balance overall
